JTET 2026 Notification Out, Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the official notification PDF for Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test. The JTET is an eligibility test for candidates who wish to teach Classes 1- 8 at government schools in Jharkhand. Candidates must note that only B.Ed and D.El.Ed-trained candidates are eligible to apply for the JTET. The online application process has been extended by the officials. For Paper I
The first paper for the Jharkhand TET examination will be held for candidates who want to become teachers for classes I to Vth. So, the eligibility criteria for Paper I are specified below.

The submission of the application forms for the Jharkhand TET Exam 2026 is ongoing at the official website https://jac.jharkhand.gov.in/jac/, and the last date to apply for the exam has been extended. JTET 2026 Application Fee
While submitting the application forms, candidates will be asked to fill out the examination fee/application fee as per their respective categories. Those belonging to primitive tribes have to pay Rs. 600/- while applying for both primary and upper primary classes.
