Bihar Police SI Selection Process 2026
The Bihar Police SI (General Closed Cadre) Recruitment 2026 will select candidates through several stages. A preliminary examination will be conducted first, after which successful candidates will be called to appear for the main examination. Successful candidates in the main examination will be called for a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Finally, a final merit list will be prepared after document verification. Therefore, candidates should prepare for each stage seriously.
Preliminary Examination: First, an objective-type preliminary examination will be conducted. This will be a screening test only, and only those who succeed will be eligible to appear for the main examination.
Main Examination: Candidates who pass the preliminary examination will have to appear for the main examination. The main examination scores play a crucial role in determining the final merit list.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who pass the main examination will be required to undergo prescribed physical efficiency tests, including running, high jump, long jump, and shot put. Meeting the prescribed standards is mandatory.
