Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit
The maximum age limit for most posts is 40 years, while for Executive Engineer (Electrical/Civil) posts under Group A, the maximum age limit is 45 years. The crucial date for determining eligibility shall be the closing date of the online application form.

JNU Non-Teaching Selection Process 2026
The selection process for JNU Non-Teaching posts consists of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)-
- Written examination comprising Paper-I (common for all posts) and Paper-II (post-specific, wherever applicable).
- Skill Test (Qualifying)-
- Applicable for posts like Private Secretary, Personal Assistant, Stenographer, Assistant, and Junior Assistant, involving stenography/typing tests.
- Interview/Personality Test-
- Applicable only for Group A posts, carrying 30% weightage, with written test carrying 70% weightage.
Note: As per MHRD/MoE guidelines, there shall be no interview for Group B and Group C posts.
