DSSSB 03/2026 Recruitment – Eligibility Criteria
Before you apply, make sure you meet all the eligibility criteria. Applying without meeting the criteria can lead to disqualification later.
Educational Qualification (varies by post):
- Junior Scientific Assistant (Biology/Chemistry/Physics etc.): Master’s degree in relevant subject (Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Forensic Science, etc.) from a recognized University.
- TGT (Computer Science): BCA / Graduation in Computer Science / BE/B.Tech (CS/IT) / ‘A’ level course from DOEACC.
- Special Educator (Primary): XII passed + 2-year D.Ed Special Education / RCI-recognized diploma + CTET (Primary).
- I.T. Assistant: 12th pass with typing speed of 8000 KDPH.
- Electrical Overseer: 3-year Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering + experience (for diploma holders).
- Fitter/Lift Operator: ITI certificate in relevant trade (Plumber/Electrician/Wireman).
Age Limit (as on 15/07/2026):
- For Group ‘C’ posts (Most JSA, Fitter, Lift Operator): 18 – 27 years.
- For Group ‘B’ posts (Teacher, Technical Assistant, Archivist): Not exceeding 30 years.

The link for the DSSSB Application Form 2026 will be activated on 16th June 2026 by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board at their official website https://dsssbonline.nic.in. For the ease of candidates, a direct link will also be provided on the DSSSB website. Candidates must first register on the portal (one-time exercise) before applying.
Application Fee
Before submitting the online application form, candidates have to submit an application fee. The fee can be paid online through SBI e-pay.

DSSSB 03/2026 Selection Process
The selection for DSSSB 2026 will be done through a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Skill Test where applicable. The exam pattern is divided into three tiers:
1. One Tier (General) – e.g., IT Assistant (34/26)
- 200 MCQs (200 Marks) – 2 hours
- Topics: General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Hindi & English (40 marks each)
2. One Tier (Technical) – e.g., JSA, Fitter, Electrical Overseer
- Section A (100 marks): General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Hindi, English (20 marks each)
- Section B (100 marks): Domain subject (as per qualification)
3. One Tier (Technical / Teaching) – e.g., TGT, Special Educator
- Section A (100 marks): General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Hindi, English
- Section B (100 marks): Subject concerned + Teaching Methodology / B.Ed.
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- General/EWS: 40%
- OBC (Delhi): 35%
- SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
