UP Excise Constable Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification
The candidates must have passed the Intermediate (Class 12th) examination from the UP Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent examination recognised by the government.
Desirable Qualification
Candidates who have served in the Pradeshik Sena (Territorial Army) for at least two years, or who hold an NCC ‘B’ Certificate, will be given preference in case of equal merit.

UPSSSC Excise Constable 2026 Selection Process
The selection process for the recruitment of the Excise Constable post consists of the following stages:
- Written Examination (Main Exam):Objective MCQ-based written test (100 questions, 100 marks, 2 hours). Shortlisting based on PET-2025 normalised scores.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT):Height, Chest, and weight measurements as per prescribed standards.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):Running test within the stipulated time.
- Document Verification.
